Kangweson, born Leo Nghilifilwa in Oupumako village, has released his fourth album, "Ombaxu Nokavava", which means "the whole truth". For the title track he called on his father, Kangwee Keenyala, a retired guitarist and musician, with production by Bexa Charter.

"My father has given me the power and courage to start doing music and take it seriously when I started recording songs in the capital in 2016," Kangweson told The Namibian.

The album also features D-Kandjafa, Zomblam, Izzy, Drawer Loco and Longizo. "Suwala Andja Keekamba", with Drawer Loco and D-Kandjafa, went viral on TikTok.

The Afro-pop and rap artist, who performs in Oshiwambo, moved to Windhoek in 2015 to study and began recording in 2016. His earlier albums are "Struggle is Culture" (2018), "Enghono Dondaka" (2019) and "Om'solodati" (2020), which included the hits "Ndikufepo Maita" and "Ndana".
